SF Airlines Establishes Its First International Resident Institution – the Belgium Representative Office

On June 5, 2025, SF Airlines' first international resident institution – the Belgium Representative Office (referred to as the "Representative Office" for short) – was officially established and unveiled. This is not only another important move for SF Airlines to deepen its presence in the European market, but also a significant milestone in accelerating SF Airlines' globalization process.

At approximately 16:00 local time on the afternoon of the 5th, the unveiling and ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in Liège, Belgium. Representatives from partner institutions including Wallonia Export-Investment Agency of Belgium, WFS, Kerry Logistics, WW Surveyors, and EDT, as well as the delegation from SF Group, attended the ceremony to witness the occasion. Li Sheng, Vice President of SF Group and Chairman of SF Airlines, unveiled the Representative Office.

In April 2020, SF Airlines launched its first route to Belgium (Changsha=Liège), delivering critical supplies and strengthening global logistics connectivity. This paved the way for further expansion into Europe. Over the past five years, SF Airlines has introduced additional routes from Wuxi, Wuhan, Ezhou, Qingdao, Yantai, and Hong Kong to Liège, operating six weekly flights transporting high-value goods such as e-commerce products, electronics, flowers, and auto parts. Cargo volume in Belgium exceeded 40,000 tons in 2024 and is projected to reach 50,000 tons in 2025.

The new office will enhance operational quality, support the implementation of SF Airlines' independent management system in Europe, and increase the competitiveness of SF's international business. It will serve as a technical support and operations platform for the European region.

Moving forward, SF Airlines will leverage Liège's strategic location and mature logistics ecosystem to develop specialized routes, explore international supply chain collaborations, and provide efficient, stable air logistics solutions supporting trade between China and Europe.
