Deepening North American Market Presence: SF Airlines Launches "Ezhou-Chicago" International Cargo Route

On October 11, 2025, a B747-400ERF of SF Airlines took off from Ezhou Huahu International Airport with a full load of cargo and headed for Chicago O'Hare International Airport, marking the official opening of the "Ezhou-Chicago" international cargo route. So far, SF Airlines' North American routes have covered the top three cities in the United States: New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, reaching the eastern, western and central parts of the United States, which can provide more powerful logistics support for the extensive global layout and regional fine coordination of the international supply chain. 

The "Ezhou-Chicago" route is planned to operate once a week, with a maximum load of nearly 110 tons, which can provide about 220 tons of air capacity between Ezhou and Chicago every week, mainly transporting international express mail, e-commerce parcels, general cargo, etc.

Chicago is the third largest city in the United States and one of its important economic centers, with developed industry and manufacturing, and O'Hare International Airport is a critical gateway to the world in Chicago and even the central United States. Ezhou is home to Asia's first professional cargo hub airport and has become an important "air outlet" in central China. The stable operation of SF Airlines "Ezhou-Chicago" route can promote the further release of the vitality of regional hubs in Ezhou and Chicago, improve the connectivity of the logistics supply chain between China and the United States, and promote international industrial docking and economic and trade cooperation with high-quality air freight services.

In recent years, SF Airlines has been deeply involved in the North American market around customer needs, and has successively opened international routes from China to North American cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Halifax.
