SF Airlines and Etihad Airways Sign Cargo Joint Business Agreement to Expand Global Cooperation

On June 3, 2025, SF Airlines and Etihad Airways signed a Cargo Joint Business Agreement (JBA) in Munich, Germany, to enhance air cargo capacity, expand network coverage, and provide more flexible and diversified logistics services worldwide. The agreement was signed by Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, and Li Sheng, Vice President of SF Group and Chairman of SF Airlines.

Under the metal-neutral agreement, both airlines will build a seamlessly integrated network, increase connectivity and capacity on key routes, and improve operational efficiency and service quality. The partnership will combine both parties’ strengths to offer customers broader destination options, more competitive transportation solutions, and higher-quality service experiences.

To meet growing market demand in cross-border e-commerce, time-sensitive shipments, and specialized logistics, the collaboration will focus on key products such as high-value electronics, sensitive equipment, and temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals. By aligning pricing strategies and service standards, the partners aim to enhance product competitiveness and achieve greater operational synergy through coordinated route planning, sales, and customer management.

Antonoaldo Neves remarked: “This joint venture marks an important step in Etihad’s strategy to strengthen global connectivity and deliver greater value to our customers.
