Operated by B757-200 freighters with a payload capacity of 28 tons, the "Shenzhen=Manila" route is scheduled for four weekly flights, providing over 220 tons of round-trip air cargo capacity. The route primarily transports e-commerce parcels for exports and fresh agricultural products for imports. The high-capacity, high-frequency service is expected to significantly improve logistics efficiency for cross-border e-commerce in southern China while promoting sustained growth in the region's import-export trade.
As China's reform and opening-up frontier, Shenzhen boasts vibrant foreign trade and rapidly developing cross-border e-commerce industries. In recent years, capitalizing on Shenzhen's robust cross-border logistics demand and favorable aviation environment, SF Airlines has launched multiple all-cargo routes from Shenzhen to Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, India and other Asian destinations. These routes have established efficient air cargo channels for trade, e-commerce and manufacturing enterprises in Shenzhen and southern China, helping Chinese businesses enhance global logistics capabilities and optimize international industrial layouts.
The Philippines, as a key ASEAN member and the bloc's second most populous nation, has witnessed rapid growth in e-commerce market size and penetration rates, demonstrating significant market potential. The new "Shenzhen=Manila" route will help Chinese businesses further explore the Philippine market, tap into Southeast Asia's development potential, and better integrate into the dual-circulation development paradigm.
As China's largest cargo airline with 64 operational freighters, SF Airlines has initially established a cargo network covering domestic markets, radiating across Asia and reaching into Europe and America. The carrier will continue optimizing its route network and service quality based on market demand, striving to become customers' most trusted air cargo partner.
