SF Airlines Launches First Trans-Pacific Freighter Route "Shenzhen=Hangzhou=Los Angeles"

At dawn Beijing time on November 7, 2020, a B747-400ERF operated by SF Airlines departed Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, made a cargo stopover in Hangzhou, and successfully arrived at Los Angeles International Airport at 04:37 on November 8, marking the official launch of SF Airlines' first Americas freighter route "Shenzhen=Hangzhou=Los Angeles" with a full load of general cargo and e-commerce parcels.

This route represents SF Airlines' fifth intercontinental route since its establishment, coming less than two days after its fourth intercontinental route "Wuhan=Frankfurt". Significantly, it is the carrier's first international route connecting its two major domestic aviation bases in Shenzhen and Hangzhou. The launch demonstrates both a breakthrough in SF Airlines' global network expansion and substantial improvement in its international route operational capabilities. Combined with SF International's local logistics network and market expertise in the U.S., this route will provide customers worldwide with more professional, convenient and reliable international logistics and supply chain services.

To ensure smooth operations, SF Airlines established a dedicated task force that coordinated comprehensive preparations while maintaining stable daily operations of over 150 flights during the Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day and "Double 11" peak periods. With strong support from civil aviation authorities, Shenzhen/Hangzhou airports, customs and other units, the airline rapidly obtained necessary operational certifications and resources to lay solid foundations for this new route.

Leveraging Shenzhen and Hangzhou's strategic transportation advantages, vibrant foreign trade, clustered manufacturing industries and strong air cargo demand, the "Shenzhen=Hangzhou=Los Angeles" route will enhance SF's global supply chain services. It will help e-commerce, manufacturing and trading enterprises in South and East China expand into the U.S. market while supporting China's development of self-sufficient international logistics supply chains.
