On March 6, 2025, SF Airlines' international cargo route "Ezhou-Bangalore" officially commenced operations. This marks the establishment of a direct air cargo link between Ezhou Huahu International Airport – Asia's first dedicated cargo hub airport and the core of SF Airlines' route network – and Bangalore, known as "India's Silicon Valley".
Bangalore, the economic center of southern India and the world's fifth-largest information technology hub, is home to numerous multinational high-tech companies, earning it the nickname "India's Silicon Valley". It boasts vibrant commercial and logistics demand. Leveraging the rapid development of Huahu International Airport, Ezhou has established a cargo advantage enabling "nationwide delivery overnight and global connectivity within days". It has become an ideal distribution hub for high-value goods such as electronics and biopharmaceuticals, as well as an "aerial gateway" for inland China's opening-up.
The "Ezhou-Bangalore" route is operated by a B767-300 wide-body freighter, scheduled for one weekly flight. It will provide over 5,000 tons of annual air freight capacity between Ezhou and Bangalore. The "cargo hub" and "tech center" are now interconnected, enabling "same-day connection" between Chinese manufacturing and the Indian market. This will broaden the air logistics channel for China-India economic and trade cooperation, inject fresh logistics vitality, and simultaneously support Ezhou's goal of building a world-class international air cargo hub and accelerating the development of Huahu International Free Trade Air Port.
With the launch of the "Ezhou-Bangalore" route, SF Airlines' network in India is further enhanced. The currently served cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore – are central hubs in India's north, west, and south respectively. The extensive coverage and frequent cargo flights will better serve the growing cross-border logistics demand and promote the alignment and cooperation of industrial and supply chains between China and India.
Moving forward, SF Airlines will continue to expand its international route network and enhance its international air cargo capabilities based on market demand. It will fully support the high-quality development of the air logistics industry and the export-oriented economy, providing global customers with safe, efficient, and high-quality air logistics services.
