At around 7:00 a.m. on October 17, 2023, a B767-300 freighter adorned with sleek red, black, and gray livery arrived at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport and docked at the airside of SF Airlines' South China Transit Center. This marked the official induction of SF Airlines' 85th freighter—the eighth added in 2023 and the 22nd B767-300 wide-body aircraft in its fleet. The new freighter is slated to operate on routes from Ezhou in the near future.
Since March 2023, the total fleet of all-cargo aircraft operated by SF Airlines has exceeded 80 and maintained steady growth, providing effective capacity support for the intensive opening of international routes in the second and third quarters, the high-frequency operation of fresh produce routes, and the layout and construction of hub routes. During this period, SF Airlines launched its first Middle East route, "Changsha-Tel Aviv," and its first Oceania route, "Shenzhen-Port Moresby," while increasing the frequency of international routes from Ezhou and other cities to Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. The airline has preliminarily established a "hub-and-spoke" route network centered on Ezhou, connecting over 30 cities across the country. By continuously leveraging its fleet advantages, network strengths, and hub operations, SF Airlines has integrated aviation logistics services into industrial and supply chains, consistently creating logistics convenience for domestic and international production and consumer markets. This effort contributes to building a new development paradigm centered on domestic circulation, with domestic and international circulations reinforcing each other.
With the addition of new transport capacity, SF Airlines' fleet structure, capable of handling long-, medium-, and short-haul flights, has been further optimised, including 3 B747s, 22 B767s, 43 B757s, and 17 B737s, with wide-body aircraft accounting for nearly 30% of the fleet. Currently, these 85 all-cargo aircraft are deployed across more than 40 cities nationwide. SF Airlines can tailor aircraft types and customise routes to meet diverse customer needs, as well as allocate capacity locally and respond swiftly to various social emergency transportation demands, thereby better leveraging the company's socio-economic value. As the 2023 ‘Double Eleven’ logistics peak approaches, the expansion of aircraft capacity will also enhance the timeliness of air cargo delivery and improve the consumer shipping experience.
SF Airlines operates the largest all-cargo aircraft fleet in China. Aligning with its vision to ‘become the most trusted air freight partner,’ SF Airlines will continue to strengthen its fleet, expand its route network, and leverage aviation cargo hubs to deliver high-quality air logistics services, aiming to become a world-class large-scale cargo airline.
