On May 18, 2020, SF Airlines launched its "cherry route" from Linyi, Shandong to Shenzhen, Guangdong, marking the official commencement of peak operations for its 2020 "Fruit Season" air transport service. From early May to early July, the carrier plans to operate over 1,000 dedicated flights transporting premium fruits including Shandong cherries, Dalian cherries, Zhejiang bayberries, and Hainan lychees directly from producing regions to major consumption markets across southern, eastern, and western China.

The annual "Fruit Season" represents SF Airlines' specialized summer air cargo program, leveraging the reliability and efficiency of its dedicated freighter fleet to provide premium transport for perishable fresh fruits with stringent storage and handling requirements. In recent years, the consistent operation of this seasonal service - seamlessly integrated with SF's ground transportation and cold chain networks - has effectively addressed preservation challenges in long-distance distribution for premium fruits from Shandong, Liaoning, Zhejiang and Jiangsu. This initiative not only empowers the fresh produce e-commerce sector but also enables consumers nationwide to enjoy seasonal delicacies at peak freshness.

Earlier in 2020, pandemic-related cancellations of passenger flights created cargo capacity shortages, threatening winter fruit sales in Hainan. On March 12, SF Airlines preemptively launched the "Shenzhen=Sanya" cargo route to facilitate fruit exports, mitigate farmers' losses, and support economic recovery in southern China through expanded air logistics channels during the crisis.

Drawing on years of fresh produce transport expertise, SF Airlines is implementing enhanced operational plans to ensure stable "Fruit Season" peak-period operations, fully supporting post-pandemic recovery for fresh e-commerce and agricultural industries.
