SF Airlines Launches "Ezhou=Los Angeles" International Cargo Route

On the evening of May 26, 2023, a B747-400 freighter operated by SF Airlines departed from Ezhou carrying nearly 80 tons of cargo bound for Los Angeles, USA, marking the official launch of the "Ezhou-Los Angeles" international cargo route. This represents SF Airlines' first North American route originating from Ezhou Huahu Airport.

Since April this year, SF Airlines has successively launched new routes from Ezhou to Liege, Belgium, as well as Chennai and Delhi, India, initially forming a route network radiating from Ezhou to Europe and South Asia. The inauguration of the "Ezhou-Los Angeles" route establishes the first air cargo connection between Ezhou and the North American market, which will attract export goods destined for North America from across China to converge at Ezhou for onward transportation. This development will help unleash the cargo hub potential of Ezhou Huahu Airport, support Ezhou's efforts to develop aviation-oriented industries and airport economy centered around the airport, and assist Hubei Province in building an "aerial gateway for foreign trade."

Moving forward, SF Airlines will continue to expand its operational network at Ezhou Huahu Airport, progressively densifying the international cargo route network originating from Ezhou.
