SF Airlines Collaborates on Development of Civil Aviation AIDP (Aviation Information Data Platform)

Publisher / SF AirlinesDate / 2018-09-23

To accelerate civil aviation data sharing and promote smart aviation development, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Operations Monitoring Center established the "Civil Aviation Operations Data Sharing Platform" (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform") in 2017. The Platform aims to achieve precise analysis, refined management, accurate supervision, and meticulous service within the industry through big data technology. At the end of 2017, SF Airlines officially signed the "China Civil Aviation Operations Data Sharing Agreement," becoming the only cargo airline among the first 10 signatories. By 2019, SF Airlines' participation had begun yielding tangible results.

The data-sharing platform SF Airlines helped build is designed to achieve "data connectivity" within civil aviation operations systems—integrating core systems such as the CAAC Operations Monitoring Center, airlines, airports, and air traffic control. It consolidates various operational data, including operating environments, pre-flight plans, flight dynamics, and performance analysis, in line with CAAC's "One-Two-Three-Three-Four" overarching framework for the new era, thereby establishing a comprehensive operational information monitoring network.

Since signing the agreement, SF Airlines has actively coordinated internal operational control, IT, and other key business resources. Under the guidance of the CAAC Monitoring Center, the airline successfully completed the upload, feedback, and refinement of operational data. After multiple rounds of verification, SF Airlines achieved 100% data upload completion and 100% flight coverage by February 23, 2019—a milestone ahead of peers. Meanwhile, SF Airlines' technical support team continues to enhance system stability to better manage data fluctuations and ensure consistent sharing quality.

The era of big data in civil aviation has arrived. As China's largest dedicated cargo airline by fleet size, SF Airlines firmly believes in the development philosophy that "information technology leads the future." Moving forward, the company will leverage its operational expertise in express aviation to actively support the Platform's ongoing development and optimization, contributing to both the Platform's advancement and the broader progress of the industry.
