Going Global - SF Airlines Officially Becomes A Member of IATA

 

On December 20, 2016, SF Airlines Co., Ltd. ("SF Airlines" for short) was officially awarded a membership certificate from the International Air Transport Association ("IATA" for short) and became a member of the IATA, marching towards a new era of international exchanges and cooperation. The certificate awarding ceremony was held in SF Airlines HQ in Shenzhen. Zhang Baojian, Regional Vice President for North Asia and Chief Representative of IATA in China, Zhang Jingwei, Regional Head of Membership and External Relationship for North Asia of IATA and Liddel Li, President of SF Airlines attended the certificate awarding ceremony among others.

Affiliated with SF Express Co., Ltd. ("SF Express" for short), SF Airlines is committed to providing safe and highly efficient air transportation of shipments, which is also the core competitiveness of SF Express's express delivery services.

In recent years, with the increasingly expansion of SF Group's business scope, SF Group has put forward higher demands on safety operation management level of SF Airlines. To reach the international advanced level as early as possible, SF Airlines officially kicked off the IATA Operational Safety Audit (“IOSA” for short) in February 2016, and passed the IOSA with zero finding on November 10 to officially become a registered operator of IOSA, laying a solid foundation for SF Airlines’ joining the IATA in December.

Relying on the speedy development of SF Group, SF Airlines has grown into a cargo airlines that has the largest number of all-cargo aircrafts among domestic airlines since its maiden flight in 2009, and has first employed the B767-300 long-range, wide-body and all-cargo heavy aircraft in flight operation in early 2016. By now, SF Airlines has a fleet of 36 self-owned all-cargo aircrafts featuring B767, B757 and B737 models, and includes 36 cities and districts nation-wide in its general aviation coverage.

In the recent 7 years of stable development, under the guidance of international standards, SF Airlines continues to enhance its safety operation management level and build the operation system and safety management system that satisfies international standards. Becoming a member of the IATA is a brand new start for SF Airlines to go global for international exchanges and cooperation and further improve the safety operation quality and air transportation services. In the future, SF Airlines will actively fulfill its rights and obligations as an IATA member, actively participate in the exchanges and cooperation in the international air transportation market and strongly support the international business development of SF Group.
